The Sioux Falls Police Department has announced that an endangered runaway has been safely located.
Naomi Madrid Rodriguez, 13, was located safely, the SFPD announced on social media. The agency thanked the public for their help in locating the missing teenager.

Police spokesman Sam Clemens, said the runaway returned home around 10:45 p.m. The reason for her the 13-year-old’s information being shared was due to her age.
Clemens said children 13 years and younger are considered at a higher risk of danger than older runaways. There’s no timeframe for children that age to be considered runaways, their information is shared by police as soon as parents report them as missing.
