Authorities responded to an incident along the Big Sioux River around 2:30 p.m. on Sunday.
Several police officers were at the scene just north of Sixth Street along the Big Sioux River as of 3:30 p.m. The section of the bike trail between the Sixth Street bridge and the railroad tracks was closed due to the investigation.
According to scanner traffic, the police were involved in a “recovery” along the river.
An officer on scene said a press release with more information will be released later on Sunday.
